Halima Said, M.S, B.A
Counselor - CDA Licensed
Licensed Professional Clinical Therapist - United States
I am dedicated to supporting individuals in their journeys toward self-understanding and healing. My approach is holistic, recognizing that every person is a complex interplay of mind, body, and spirit. I believe that to truly help someone, it’s essential to consider all aspects of their being, including their physical health, emotional state, social connections, and spiritual beliefs.
With over five years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families, I have addressed various trauma-related issues, including sexual and physical violence, psychological and emotional abuse, neglect, and war-related trauma. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with clients struggling with eating disorders and body dysmorphia. These experiences have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the complexities and unique challenges my clients face.
Furthermore, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. This experience has reinforced my commitment to considering the unique identities and life experiences of each person I counsel. I understand that cultural, racial, and ethnic backgrounds significantly shape one's worldview and experiences, and I am dedicated to honoring and integrating these perspectives into our therapeutic work. I strive to create a more inclusive and empathetic therapeutic space where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.
